for NEW
AND EXISTING Volunteers
In an effort to help train new disaster
volunteers as quickly as possible, the American
Red Cross is now offering the
Introduction to Disaster Services as an online course at
http://www2.redcross.org/flash/course01_v01/
or
visit
the new Client Assistance
System or CAS Self-Studies which are now available. You can
take these new
classes online at your convenience, and you will receive full credit in the
Learning Management System (LMS) for completing them. The new self-study
classes are:
--CAS
Basics --CAS Create a Client Case --CAS Reports
The new CAS Basics self-study
program replaces the previous version. If you have started but not completed the
last version, you will need to begin anew with the updated CAS Basics
self-study. The current content will be available on your LMS Development Plan. Please stay tuned for
announcements regarding the availability of other self-studies for the following
CAS modules: Needs and Assistance, Chapter Disaster Operations, and Supervisor
Functions. If you have any questions
